B. 1. Now we could play a bit with this idea of being famous
Choose three well-known personalities you really admire.
(They can be contemporary or from the past) and build your Hall of Fame
- personality one (names)
- personality two
- personality three
Make brief notes stating a few reasons why you admire each of those persons ( their looks, their character and personality, their deeds, etc)
Now go to the following site:
http://www.voki.com/activated.php
- Open an account if you haven't one already and then create an appropriate Voki for each of them.
- Then, based on your previous notes, write a well-organized paragraph with relevant biographical data about each of them. Using the audio tools (audiopal), insert or record the text corresponding to each character.
B.2. Imagine you are also a famous person. Let´s create and build your character too.
Consider the following:
- What would you choose to be famous for?
- How would you look like? What would you do? How do you think you would feel?
- What would your message and legacy to the world be?
- ...
When you're ready, record a text (preferably with your own voice) and add this Voki to the other ones.

My friends and I had joined a weight-loss organization. At one meeting the instructor held up an apple and a candy bar. "What are the attributes of this apple," she asked, "and how do they relate to our diet?" "Low in calories" and "lots of fiber" were among the answers. She then detailed what was wrong with eating candy, and concluded, "Apples are not only more healthful but also less expensive. Do you know I paid 75 cents for this candy bar?" We stared as she held aloft the forbidden treat. From the back of the room a small voice spoke up, "Oh, I'll give you a dollar for it."
